Where We Began

As if by fate the two of us were brought together. The summer of 2019 was one we will never forget. A bank holiday end of season night out in Revolution reunited us after initially being introduced to each other back in 2018. We instantly hit it off as friends, but as a newly single 24 year old girl I was unaware that the larger than life Irish man who's name I thought was actually Roddy (maybe a nickname for Rodney) would be THE one. After a month of many DM's and phone calls from New York Sean ask me out on a date. He pulled it out the bag with this  and took me on a very romantic date all girls wish for..... whetherspoons. Start as you mean to go on they say. We connected instantly over our love of music, old and new, and our chemistry was rare and exciting. A month went by and our communication was flat line , but the memories of the two weeks together were unforgettable. On the 1st July our paths crossed unexpectedly and we caught up over pink gin and pasta. The spark was relit as from that day onwards our rollercoaster journey together began. In the 6 years together we started a business, spent 2 lockdowns together, moved house 5 times and welcomed 2 beautiful children into our family. Sean popped the question on a gondola in Venice back in September 2022 which I can confirm was much more romantic than our first date. Almost 3 years later and many wedding plan alterations ,we can now look forward to finally calling each other husband and wife, and celebrating our love for one another with our beautiful family and friends.
